We kick off the celebration with Friday evening’s TIDAL Seafood Dinner, serving scrumptious local, sustainably sourced Bass Strait seafood to wow your taste buds. Treat yourself to our open oyster bar and captivating courses matched with local wines.

Saturday’s Blessing of the Fleet is a centuries-old tradition that ensures a safe and bountiful season for our local fishermen. An important event which has been held on San Remo Jetty since the early 1960s, make sure you bring a camera to capture the occasion.

If a program filled with fun family activities, pelican feeding, food stalls and live music doesn’t lure you in, our mouth-watering cooking demonstrations will catch you hook, line and sinker.

Bring your appetite as local restaurants and cafés throughout San Remo will have the freshest fare on offer, including specials featuring our famous gummy shark (flake), southern rock lobster, king prawns, abalone and duckfish.

Head south, drop your anchor and stay for the whole weekend. San Remo and Phillip Island are loaded with experiences for you to get out on the water, soak up the sunshine and breathe in some fresh coastal air.

The MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Australia 2026 will feature the world’s best and emerging riders.

Crowds will lap up plenty of action from international categories, including Moto2™ and Moto3™ - where Aussie Joel Kelso will return to Phillip Island. As well as MotoGP™ returning with Australian rider Jack Miller set to battle it out in the premier class.

Mark your calendars. The Phillip Island Circuit will again, proudly host the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship on February 19 – 21 for the opening round of the championship’s 2027 season.

The iconic Circuit will roar to life as the world class series takes to the tarmac against the picturesque backdrop of Bass Strait.

Two-days of pre-season testing will also take place in the days prior, on February 15 and 16, 2027.

Minister for Sport and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos said that “we look forward to welcoming riders, crew and fans back to Phillip Island in February 2027 for thrilling action on the track and beyond, filling up our cafes, shops and hotels.”

“This event puts Phillip Island on the global stage as a stunning visitor destination, with superbikes fans from around the world tuning in for the opening round.”

Fans can get ready to soak up the exhilarating Superbike atmosphere in what will be the 36th event that the Phillip Island Circuit has hosted.

Minister for Tourism Natalie Suleyman also stated, “there’s no better place on earth to open the World Superbike season than Phillip Island, and Victoria is proud to host it.”

“Thousands of superbike fans descending on the island means a major boost for local small and family businesses right across the region.”

Eventgoers can start planning their trips for another World Superbike summer down under and experience what the Phillip Island Circuit, and the surrounding Phillip Island and Gippsland region has to offer.

Expect three-days of high-octane motorsport action and witness some of the world’s best motorcycle riders vie for their first critical points and wins for the first round of the season.

The 38th Phillip Island Classic is a not to be missed, must-see event for any passionate motorsport or motoring enthusiast. Recognised globally and held at the iconic and world-famous Grand Prix Circuit, the Phillip Island Classic event brings together Australia’s greatest collection of historic racing machines, legendary drivers and classic cars; a dynamic and colourful celebration of local and international motorsport history.

and unique cars on display. Talk with proud owners who will be more than ready to share their passion for these special vehicles.

​​​Racing categories in 2027 will include Historic and Heritage Touring Cars and 5 Litre Touring cars, reliving the intense Holden

and Ford rivalry that kept the Australian public entertained throughout the 60s, 70s and 80s. Thundering V8 Monaros,

Commodores, GT Falcons, Camaros and Mustangs will be taking on the nimble giant-killing BMW M3s and Mini Cooper S. Many of these historically significant cars have previously raced for outright honours at Bathurst!

​​​​Classic Sports and Racing Cars will feature legendary marques such as Ferrari, Porsche, Elfin and Lola, whilst a packed field of

Alfa Romeos, Porsches, MGs and Corvettes will be challenged by a sole roaring V8 DeTomaso Pantera.

​​​Open wheel fans will not only be entertained by the variety of sports and racing cars, but also the packed grids of open wheel Formula Fords and Formula Vees, all guaranteed to provide a close racing spectacle. 

 One ticket grants you full access all weekend long. ​You can access the pits, using the main straight footbridge, or free courtesy bus, encouraging enthusiasts to stroll along the circuit’s active pit area, view these historic machines close up, chat with drivers and mechanics, take photos and absorb the atmosphere, experiences not available anywhere else in Australia, and rarely overseas.

​Soak up the atmosphere and take a trip down memory lane as these historic cars are bought to life by dedicated team members, then as they move to the dummy grid, before accelerating hard onto the 4.4 kilometre track for an unforgettable spectacle of wheel-to-wheel speed and sound.
